Infrastructure
Infrastructure plays an important role in the capacity of the Appalachian economy to expand and respond to new opportunities. In many communities throughout the region, substantial upgrades to roads, water, and waste systems are required to meet modern standards. This section highlights a few explorations into the needs of the region in this area.
